1. About Let's Face it by Karen

These terms and conditions apply to all beauty and wellness services provided by Karen Macvicar, trading as Let's Face it by Karen. By booking an appointment, you agree to these terms.

I offer professional nails, massage, aesthetics/skincare, and lashes & brows services from my rented treatment room. I'm committed to providing you with excellent service in a safe, hygienic environment.

2. Booking Your Appointment

Bookings are automatically confirmed through my booking system. However, I reserve the right to decline any booking that doesn't fit my policies or if I'm unable to safely provide the requested service.

A fixed booking fee is required to secure your appointment. This fee is non-refundable if you cancel with less than 24 hours notice or fail to attend.

Please ensure you complete any required consultation forms before your appointment. This helps me provide the best and safest service for you.

3. Payment

Payment is due at the end of your appointment.

I accept card payments, bank transfers, and cash.

Prices are clearly displayed and include all fees. Any additional services requested during your appointment will be charged accordingly.

4. Cancellations and Changes

You may cancel or reschedule your appointment free of charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled time.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment will result in loss of your booking fee.

If you fail to attend without notice, you'll lose your booking fee and may be required to pay in full before booking future appointments.

I understand emergencies happen - please contact me as soon as possible if you can't make your appointment.

5. Your Responsibilities

Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrivals may result in reduced treatment time.

Be honest about your medical history, allergies, medications, and any conditions that might affect your treatment during the consultation.

Follow any pre-treatment instructions provided, such as avoiding certain products or activities.

Inform me immediately if you experience any discomfort during your treatment.

Maintain appropriate hygiene and come to appointments with clean skin/nails as required for your service.

6. Health and Safety

Your safety is my priority. I maintain strict hygiene standards including thorough cleaning and disinfection of all tools and surfaces between clients.

Some treatments require a patch test at least 48 hours before your appointment. Failure to attend a required patch test means I cannot perform your treatment.

Please inform me of any allergies, skin conditions, or health concerns that might affect your treatment.

I reserve the right to refuse or modify treatment if I believe it could harm your health or wellbeing.

7. Service Standards and Complaints

I strive to provide excellent service every time. If you're not satisfied with your treatment, please let me know immediately.

If a service isn't performed correctly, I'll offer to fix it at no additional cost within 14 days of your original appointment.

Refunds may be offered at my discretion for services that cannot be rectified.

Please note that results can vary between individuals, and I cannot guarantee specific outcomes.

8. Your Privacy

Your personal information is only used for booking purposes and to contact you about your appointments.

I will never share your details with third parties without your consent.

Any photos taken for my portfolio will only be used with your written permission.

9. General Terms

I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who is abusive, under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or who poses a health and safety risk.

These terms may be updated from time to time. The latest version will always be available during the booking process.

By booking an appointment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
